Hi there travelbugs!
Finally I am in Australia! After a long journey (with two lay-overs) I have landed in Melbourne. Although I am still highly struggling with the jetlag, I already feel that summer is on its way here.
Tomorrow Sharona and I are off to Torquay, Jan Juc and Apollo Bay along the Great Ocean Road. I am very excited to take some photos of the pristine coastline and beaches. Hang in there for an update after this weekend!
The weather has been kind of rainy so far, but I managed to take some pictures along the Yarra river today. This weekend temperatures are rising, and Monday and Tuesday will already be 34C. Be careful what you wish for!
Sharona lives in a beautiful area with lovely houses (read: at least a few million dollars each), tree-lined long lanes and more than adorable neighbours who love to garden every moment of the day.
